Alison Schneider, MS, LAc
Acupuncturist & Herbalist
My Story
I am a mother, writer, and acupuncturist devoted to helping whole families heal and thrive. My areas of expertise are pediatrics, perinatal care, period health, and holistic mental health.
For nearly a decade, I have been studying and integrating the tools of classical East Asian medicine and modern neuroscience. In my clinical practice, I primarily draw upon Japanese acupuncture, classical Chinese herbalism, and craniosacral therapy. I often incorporate flower essence therapy, Neuro Emotional Technique, and thoughtful somatic practices. My work is informed by an interdisciplinary background in the arts, meditation, and movement therapies. Learn more about my education and training at Alison Elizabeth Acupuncture.
I hold the following degrees and credentials:
MS, Oriental Medicine; National University of Natural Medicine
BA, English: Creative Writing & Wilderness Studies; The University of Montana
Licensed Acupuncturist, Oregon Medical Board
Diplomat in Acupuncture, NCCAOM
"I’ve tried many acupuncturists and alternative healers in the past, but struggled to find one that could address the dimensionality of complex trauma in my body. Alison is a one-woman orchestra, tuning the mind, body, and spirit with her intuitive and skillful touch to a coherent frequency of wellness. Her gentle needling approach was exactly what my body needed to feel safe enough to activate its self-healing wisdom. Beyond needles, Alison used other modalities that encouraged my body to relax. Healing never felt so good! Alison is a dynamic gifted healer."

Sadie Kimball, LMT
Massage Therapist & Birth Doula
My Story
I am a massage therapist and birth doula devoted to co-created sessions of healing touch, embodiment, and deep rest. My areas of expertise include perinatal and abdominal massage, craniosacral therapy, and therapeutic deep tissue work in support of diverse bodies and experiences.
My approach is slow, attentive, and trauma-informed. I draw from the lineage of Rosita Arvigo’s abdominal organ massage—including uterine alignment, psoas release, and digestive support—along with soft tissue work and nervous system restoration. My practice is shaped by years of experience supporting families as a birth doula where education, advocacy, and reproductive justice inform each layer of care. Outside of the clinic, you may find me tending to my inner world through dance and meditation or on long walks in the forest with my wife and dog.
I hold the following degrees and credentials:
Licensed Massage Therapist #28659; Oregon Board of Massage Therapists
Abdominal Therapy for Professionals Graduate; Abdominal Therapy Collective
Massage Therapy Program Graduate; McKinnon Body Therapy Center
Certified Labor and Birth Doula; Cornerstone Doula Trainings
BS Conservation and Resource Studies; University of California, Berkeley
"I began seeing Sadie for prenatal massage in my second trimester, and she became such a steady source of support during my pregnancy. She has a gentle, intuitive way of working, yet was not afraid to put pressure into my achy muscles which was immensely needed as my pregnancy progressed. The sessions eased the tension in my hips and lower back, but they also gave me space to slow down and connect with my changing body. I always left feeling softer, more grounded, reassured, and I would sleep like a baby! I’m so grateful to have had Sadie’s care during this season."

“Working with Sara throughout my pregnancy was a highlight of being pregnant. She helped with back pain and anxiety, and I credit her with my son being born on his due date rather than two weeks late like both my husband and I were. I would highly recommend Sara to anyone who is expecting or postpartum. She is so caring, and her holistic approach and extensive education means you’ll be well taken care of at every phase of this journey into new motherhood.”
